Today’s young people are stepping into a world that’s more competitive and connected, and more driven by technology than ever before. In the next ten years, millions of young Canadians will start working in jobs that are very different from those we’re familiar with now. Due to more jobs being done by machines, huge leaps in technology, and a worldwide economy, our children will need to adapt to changing jobs, switch careers often, and be ready for a life and work environment that’s influenced by global connections and digital technology. By teaching them versatile skills and encouraging a love for learning throughout their lives, we can prepare them for these changes and help them create a successful future for themselves.
Teaching students transferable skills and fostering a passion for learning all their lives is essential. This approach is why we focus on these skills. It prepares students for the ever-changing realities of the world and empowers them to successfully steer and shape their own futures.
